Welcome to Cardboard Arena. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of
cardboardarena.com and your purchase of products from Cardboard Arena LLC
("Cardboard Arena," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree
to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or
place an order.

2. Products
Cardboard Arena sells trading cards and related products, including individual trading
cards, booster packs, sealed boxes, and other sealed trading card products.
Products may include cards that are new or previously owned. Product listings will
provide applicable condition information.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices,
availability, and other information on the website are accurate. However, occasional
typographical, photographic, inventory, pricing, or other errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors and to update product information at any time.
3. Individual Card Condition
Individual cards may be offered in a variety of conditions, including:
- Near Mint (NM)
- Lightly Played (LP)
- Moderately Played (MP)
- Heavily Played (HP)
- Damaged
The condition stated in an individual card's listing is part of the product description.
For individual cards listed below Near Mint condition, photographs may depict the actual
card being sold. For Near Mint cards and other listings where stock photography is
used, the photograph may not depict the exact physical item shipped.
Minor variations inherent to collectible trading cards, including ordinary manufacturing
characteristics, printing variations, centering, or similar characteristics, do not
necessarily constitute a defect or incorrect listing.
If you believe an individual card was materially misgraded or incorrectly described,
please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Cards are conditioned in accordance with the tcgplayer.com guidelines. If you believe a
card was materially misgraded or incorrectly described, please contact us within 30
days of delivery.
We do not accept returns or give full refunds for conditioning errors. If a card was
incorrectly conditioned, refunds will be processed down to the agreed upon conditioning
error. For example, if a card is sold as NM, but the customer believes the card is LP,
shows proof and we agree, we’ll refund down to the average of last 5 sales of an LP
card on TCGplayer.com.
4. Authenticity
Cardboard Arena does not knowingly sell counterfeit trading cards or other counterfeit
products.
If you believe that a card purchased from Cardboard Arena may be counterfeit or
otherwise inauthentic, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will work with
you to investigate the concern and determine an appropriate resolution.
We may request photographs, additional information, or return of the item for
examination.
5. Sealed Products
Sealed products are generally sold as new and factory sealed unless the product listing
states otherwise.
Stock photographs may be used for sealed product listings and may not depict the
exact physical item shipped.
The contents of sealed products are determined by the applicable manufacturer or
publisher. Unless expressly stated in a product listing, Cardboard Arena does not
guarantee that a sealed product will contain any particular card, rarity, printing, pull, or
monetary value.
Once a sealed product has been opened, it generally cannot be returned under our
Refund & Return Policy except where required by applicable law or where the product
itself was defective or materially misrepresented.
6. Product Availability
Products are offered subject to availability.
Adding an item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that the item will remain
available until checkout is completed.
We may limit quantities, decline an order, or cancel an order when necessary, because
of inventory limitations, suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, supplier restrictions, or
other legitimate circumstances.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate
refund.
7. Orders and Acceptance
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the
products in your order.
You will receive an order confirmation after submitting an order. An order confirmation
does not necessarily mean that Cardboard Arena has accepted the order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before shipment for legitimate
reasons, including product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity,
payment problems, or other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will
be refunded to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
8. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders
that have already been accepted, except where an order is cancelled because of a
genuine pricing or listing error.
Applicable sales tax and other charges will be calculated and displayed as required at
checkout.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information and to use
a payment method that you are authorized to use.
9. Preorders
Cardboard Arena may occasionally offer products for preorder.
Preorder release dates are based on information provided by publishers,
manufacturers, distributors, or other suppliers and are subject to change.
If a product's release date changes, its expected shipping date will change accordingly.
When an order contains both preorder and in-stock products, Cardboard Arena will
generally ship the in-stock products separately rather than holding them until the
preorder product is released.
If a preorder cannot be fulfilled within the applicable timeframe, Cardboard Arena will
provide any notices, cancellation options, and refunds required by applicable law.
10. Shipping
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days.
Cardboard Arena primarily uses USPS and may occasionally use UPS or another
carrier.
Shipping and delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Once an
order has been transferred to a carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances
outside our control, including weather, holidays, carrier delays, customs processing, and
service disruptions.
Our complete shipping practices are described in our Shipping Policy, which is
incorporated into these Terms.
11. International Orders
Cardboard Arena may ship to selected international destinations.
International customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST,
brokerage fees, handling fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country or
its authorities.
Additional shipping charges may apply to international orders because of customs
requirements or other destination-specific circumstances.
Some countries or destinations may be unavailable for shipping.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, domestic shipping promotions apply only to orders
shipped within the United States.
12. Returns and Refunds
Our Refund & Return Policy governs returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged
merchandise, and other product-related claims and is incorporated into these Terms.
Generally, return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Cardboard Arena does not generally accept returns for customer remorse, incorrect
purchases, or other situations where the product was accurately described and no
defect or fulfillment error occurred.
Opened sealed products are generally not eligible for return.
13. Customer Accounts
Customers may create an account on our website.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and
for activity occurring through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update information that
becomes inaccurate.
You may not use another person's account without authorization.
Cardboard Arena may suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary
because of fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, violation of these Terms, or other misuse of
the website.
14. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website:
- For any unlawful purpose;
- To violate applicable laws or regulations;
- To commit fraud or facilitate fraudulent transactions;
- To interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- To introduce malicious code or other harmful material;
- To use automated systems in a manner that interferes with the website or its operation; or
- In any manner that violates these Terms.
15. Fraud and Order Abuse
Cardboard Arena reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action regarding
orders or accounts that appear to involve fraud, unauthorized payment methods,
chargeback abuse, false claims, manipulation of promotions, or other fraudulent or
abusive activity.
Actions may include cancelling an order, restricting an account, refusing future
transactions, or taking other appropriate measures.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to Cardboard Arena under
applicable law.
16. Intellectual Property
The Cardboard Arena name, logo, website design, original written content,
photographs, graphics, product descriptions, and other original materials provided by
Cardboard Arena are owned by or licensed to Cardboard Arena and may be protected
by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, or commercially exploit
Cardboard Arena's original content without our prior written permission, except as
permitted by applicable law.
Product names, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property belonging to third-
party publishers, manufacturers, and other companies remain the property of their
respective owners.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use third-party services, including payment processors, shipping
services, analytics services, Shopify, and other applications or integrations.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Cardboard Arena is not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or
practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.
18. Website Availability and Errors
We strive to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the
website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the website or particular products
or services at any time.
We may correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, omissions, inventory errors, pricing
errors, and other mistakes.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on
an "as available" basis.
Cardboard Arena does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or
error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot
legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cardboard Arena LLC and its
owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your
use of the website or purchase of products from Cardboard Arena.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cardboard Arena's total liability relating to a
particular purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid to Cardboard Arena for the
product or products giving rise to the claim.
This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under
applicable law.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold
harmless Cardboard Arena LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service
providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from
your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another
person's rights.
22. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute or concern regarding an order, product, account, or use of the
website, please contact Cardboard Arena first so that we have an opportunity to
investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any rights or remedies that cannot
legally be waived.
We have not included a mandatory arbitration provision or class-action waiver in these
Terms.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to
conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between you and Cardboard Arena will be
handled in a court or other forum with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
24. Changes to These Terms
Cardboard Arena may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the beginning of
the Terms.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not alter rights or obligations that cannot
legally be changed retroactively.
Your continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable,
that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the
remaining provisions will remain in effect.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the policies and documents expressly incorporated into
them, constitute the agreement between you and Cardboard Arena concerning your use
of the website and purchases made through it, except where a separate written
agreement applies.
